Depending on the outbreak situation of COVID-19 Delta variant over the world, it is necessary for the University to step up the infection control measures. For all students returning from outside Hong Kong, you are required to comply with the control measures as follows:
Under all circumstances, students returning from outside Hong Kong have to:-
- Undergo and complete ALL compulsory quarantine and health control requirements of the HKSAR Government including self-monitoring; and
- Have already stayed in Hong Kong for at least 21 days; and
- Present proof of a negative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test from a government accredited laboratory that was carried out no more than 48 hours prior to checking in.
For more information regarding the infection control policy that has been endorsed by the university, please refer to the FAQ here.
Your health and wellbeing are paramount, and we are working hard to keep everyone on campus as safe as possible. Please refer to the website of HKU Health Services and the Hong Kong Department of Health for the latest information and advice.
